Support Fair Trade is the newest design to hit Veggie’s Shop! Inspired by its growing popularity (and our own buying habits), we’ve created this design to help spread awareness and support for the fair trade movement.
The base of the design is a heart, representing the compassion and admiration today’s small farmers deserve, yet rarely receive. Above the heart, two hands reach toward each other – and a common ground. The text spells out an important message: ‘Support Fair Trade.’
It’s easy to spot fairly traded goods…two images commonly found on fair trade products are the TransFair USA and Equal Exchange badges. Look for them the next time you’re shopping. It truly does make a world of difference.
Our latest design features the charming tent top of the traveling circus, cheerful flag and all…but it also carries a very important message: The Circus is no Circus for the Animals.
As a child I used to see circus tents and get all excited about the elephants, tigers and bears that I might see inside. Even then, I remember feeling sad that they were trapped in tiny cages and kept shackled up like prisoners. Now, as an adult, I see the true suffering that occurs far too often under the guise of entertainment, some say “the Greatest Show on Earth.”
If your life wouldn’t be the same without the circus, go to see an animal free circus. They are every bit as entertaining (more so in my opinion) and don’t cause animal suffering.

I created this design rather quickly when asked to participate in CafePress’ Haiti Relief Effort Shop. All proceeds go to UNICEF earmarked specifically for aid to Haiti.

Shed Your Fur – The Animals Need it More is new in the Animal Welfare lineup at Veggie’s Shop. As if eating dead animals wasn’t bad enough, people actually wear them…and brag about it!
People are more violently opposed to fur than leather because it’s safer to harass rich women than motorcycle gangs. Anonymous
